On my Doorstep - a snowy Sunday in Redmires, Sheffield
I'm starting my New Year's resolution early - to take more photographs outside of work and explore the natural beauty, locations and talent that's right on my doorstep. With fresh snow on a Sunday that was already mapped out to spend with the family gang, I had no excuse.
Here are some of the snaps I took before everyone got too cold, cars got stuck (thankfully not ours) and there was nothing left to do but get home for emergency hot chocolate.

Redmires is somewhere I've visited since my childhood, so every walk there is layered with memories. Running in and out of the bomb craters - still there after decoy lights were put on the hillside in WW2, running through the plantation and up to Stanage Pole. We didn't make it that far with the little people in tow this time, but it was a perfect spot to make new memories and take some lovely snowy photographs of everyone.

I now offer family shoots on location as well as at home. Please drop me a line if you'd like some info:
